Using the CPH Crypto Trading Platform
Now that you know how to deposit funds into your CPH Crypto account, it’s crucial to get accustomed to the information that the CPH Crypto exchange is showing you.
1. Trading pairs
First, let’s take a look at the trading pairs. These are the varying combinations of fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies that you can make trades on. For example, you would select ETH/BTC if you own BTC and look to trade it for ETH, and vice versa.
2. Order book and spread
To see the order book of any trading pair, click on the symbol on the left-hand side of the trading pair, as seen below.
The spread in the middle tells the difference between the lowest sell order and the highest buy order. CPH Crypto is among the exchanges with the lowest spreads. For further detail of fees and costs, click here.
3. Price chart
Next, we’ll take a look at the price charts. To display the price chart of a trading pair, click on the symbol illustrating a graph, as seen below.
That’ll redirect you to TradingView, a leading provider of live quotes and stock charts, where you’ll be able to monitor and analyze your trading ideas before executing them at CPH Crypto.
4. The deal plotter
Moving down the dashboard below the trading pairs, you’ll find the deal plotter section.
The deal blotter will display a record of all the transactions executed on a given day, and it contains information relevant to the transactions for the day, including:
- Trading pair
- Order type
- Product type
- Trade date
- Order status
5. Historic Search
Next to the Deal Plotter, you’ll find Historic Search. This feature shows the history of orders that have been fulfilled by CPH Crypto and allows you to search for specific transactions.
Note: At first glance, the section will look empty why you’ll have to search for the specific transaction by date
6. Profit and Loss
Right next to the historic search, you’ll find the Profit & Loss section. This section shows your profits and losses.
7. Customized Dashboard
All the dashboard trading pair widgets can be rearranged and resized. This will customize the layout and thus advancing your trading activities. You can save your layout thus that it will regenerate when you next visit CPH Crypto.
8. Single or double tap trade execution
CPH Crypto facilitates single or double-tap trade execution which allows you to open or close a trade with just one or two clicks. That is one of the unique features that separates CPH Crypto from other leading crypto exchanges.
Once the quantity has been inserted, clicking once or twice on the buy or sell price will transmit the order directly through for processing.
Note: You will not be requested to confirm the order since it will be placed instantly.
9. Advanced order types
In addition to Market and Limit orders, CPH Crypto also facilitates more advanced order types to enhance the trading experience, including Immediate-Or-Cancel (IOC), Fill-or-Kill (FOK), Day order (DAY), Good-Till-Cancelled (GTC).
- IOC -an order to buy or sell a coin that needs to be executed instantly. Any amount of the order that does not get fulfilled immediately gets canceled.
- FOK - an order that must be executed directly in its entirety - if not, the entire order gets canceled
- DAY - an order is a stipulation placed on an order to a broker to execute a trade at a specific price that expires at the end of the trading day if it is not completed.
- GTC - an order that is active until its specified date unless it has already been fulfilled or canceled.
